Itinerary
Day 1. Travel from Arkhangelsk to Letnaya Zolotitsa
Arrive in Letnaya Zolotitsa and transfer to eco hotel for 3 nights. The hotel has a restaurant, 14 comfortable DBL rooms, a Russian banya with outdoor pools.
Restaurant lunch.
Safety briefing meeting and a lecture about Harp seals.
Restaurant dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Tour to harp seals by helicopter
Board Robinson helicopter and fly over the White Sea. During the flight, we may spot beluga whales, colonies of male seals and solitary walruses. Our main goal is to find female Greenland seals and their completely white newly born puppies. We will land on a sturdy ice floe. Mother seals allow getting very close to their pups, taking photos and even touching them.
Picnic lunch.
Fly back to the hotel.
Russian banya (included)
Restaurant dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Reserve day, optional sightseeing
Reserve day to make up for bad weather. Lunch and dinner are included, as well as a walking tour to explore Zolotitsa village/nearby forest.
Optional excursions include a helicopter trip to Solovetsky Islands and a snowmobile safari.
Overnight.
Day 4. Travel back to Arkhangelsk
Free time.
Lunch and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Arkhangelsk.
