This northern Russia tour provides an opportunity to see harp seal pups in their natural habitat

Day 1. Travel from Arkhangelsk to Letnaya Zolotitsa
Fly from Arkhangelsk to Letnaya Zolotitsa by regular/charter plane or charter MI-8 helicopter (not included, please contact us for details).
Arrive in Letnaya Zolotitsa and transfer to eco hotel for 3 nights. The hotel has a restaurant, 14 comfortable DBL rooms, the White Sea spa and Russian banya with hot and cold pools.
Lunch.
Safety briefing meeting and a lecture about Harp seals.
Restaurant dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Tour to harp seals by helicopter
Breakfast.
Board Robinson helicopter and fly over the White Sea. During the flight, we may spot beluga whales, colonies of male seals and solitary walruses. Our main goal is to find female Greenland seals and their completely white newly born puppies. We will land on a sturdy ice floe. Mother seals allow getting very close to their pups, taking photos and even touching them.
Fly back to the hotel.
Lunch.
Walking tour to explore Zolotitsa, a 600-year old fishing village established in this remote area of the White Sea coast by Russian settlers.
Russian banya or the White Sea Spa with seaweed bath (optional).
Restaurant dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Reserve day, optional sightseeing
Breakfast.
Reserve day to make up for bad weather. Lunch and dinner are included.
Optional excursions:
- Helicopter trip to Solovetsky Islands where the famous medieval monastery, enlisted in the World Heritage List of UNESCO, is located.
- Snowmobile safari along the eco trail of the National Park, enjoy landscapes and nature, visit traditional fishing lodge and make a picnic lunch.
Day 4. Travel back to Arkhangelsk
Breakfast.
Free time.
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Arkhangelsk.
