St. Petersburg Walking Tour

Meet with the guide in the Palace Square by the Winter Palace. During the walking tour, the guide will put in the picture about the city, tell about its history and attractions seen along the way, share local knowledge and answer the questions.

Walking tour of St. Petersburg historic center

Walk along Admiralty Prospect towards St. Isaac Cathedral, passing by Alexander's garden.

See St. Isaac Cathedral, one of the top landmarks of the city.

Walk to the Senate Square and the very first monument of the city dedicated to its founder, Tzar Peter the Great – the Bronze Horseman.

Continue along the Admiralty Embankment towards the Palace Bridge.

Enjoy the view on the Spit of Basil’s Island (Vassilyevsky Ostrov) with two spectacular Rostral columns, also known as former lighthouses of St. Petersburg port.

See the Peter and Paul Fortress on the opposite bank of the Neva River.

Stop by the Church on the Spilled Blood and enjoy the magnificent domes of the cathedral.

Walk along the canal towards Nevsky prospect, the main street of St. Petersburg.

Stop by Kazan Cathedral; optionally go inside to see the interior (free entrance).

Find the secret passage to the Palace Square through the old yards of St. Petersburg passing the Capella building by the Choir Bridge.

Finish at the Palace Square (or at another location, which you can agree about with the guide).
