Leningrad Oblast (region) is a Soviet name of a big territory around St. Petersburg. We arrange tours to the historical towns of Vyborg and Tikhvin, medieval fortresses of Staraya Ladoga and Shlisselburg, Alexandro-Svirskiy Monastery, Mandrogi tourist village and old wooden churches of the Svir River. Special interest and military tours can include remains of fortifications located in the Karelian Isthmus, where Soviet-Finnish battles took place in the period of 1939-1945.
