Itinerary
Day 1. Petrozavodsk - Ruskeala - Petrozavodsk
Our guide will pick you up at the railway station or your accommodation in Petrozavodsk.
The distance to Ruskeala is 270 km; travel time is about 3 hours. For the transfer, we are using air-conditioned car or van.
During the tour, you will visit one of the most picturesque places of Karelia – the Ruskeala Mountain Park and enjoy the Karelian nature.
Visit the territory of the Mountain Park, the former marble quarry.
Become acquainted with the history of mining industry on the territory of Karelia from the time of Empress Catherine II up to the end of the XX century.
Enjoy the beautiful views of the water-filled open pit, experience the passage through the former mine.
Try leisure-time entertainments in the park, among them boating, bungee jumping or zip-lining.
Lunch is not included. There are several cafes on the spot.
Transfer back to Petrozavodsk. Depending on time, make a photo stop in the village of Manga.
Drop off at your accommodation or train station in Petrozavodsk.

What kind of vehicles do you use?

We use modern, comfortable 9-seater vans, for example Volkswagen Caravella with plenty of luggage space.
For smaller groups we use suitably sized cars, such as Skoda Octavia.
For bigger groups we use Mercedes Sprinter buses or full-sized coaches.
